Lake O’Hara Alpine Circuit

Arguably the best day hiking trail in the Canadian Rockies, this circuit climbs high above the Lake O’Hara Valley and features nonstop views of soaring peaks, stunning cirques, gorgeous hanging valleys, shimmering lakes and pristine alpine meadows.

Emerald Triangle Loop

Distance: 11.4 miles (Loop)

Stunning views of the President Range and the Emerald Lake Valley are the rewards of this interesting circuit. Along the way pass scenic Emerald Basin, travel through wildflower-filled meadows and visit Burgess Pass, with fine views of Lake O’Hara region’s high peaks.
